Blended Hydraulic Cement
CEM III/A 42.5N as per BSEN-197 TYPE IT<70 as ASTM C 595 Comply with QCS – 2014 requirements
Blended Hydraulic Cement is a Slag cements composed of 50% GGBFS and designed as per ASTM C 595.It is used for application in demanding construction projects where high sulfate resistance is required: concrete works in warm climate, structures in humid and aggressive environment rich in sulfates, bridge base, road works, irrigation systems, sewage and drainage systems.

Fresh Concrete
At the same cement content, concrete containing Blended Cement will have a slightly reduced water demand and hence the slump at a given water/cement ratio will generally be slightly higher than for a Portland cement concrete.

Hardened Concrete
he Strength development of Blended Cement concrete at early ages is similar to OPC and TYPE V Cement because of Its micro fine particles furthermore it gives higher 28D Strength than normal OPC and SRC, however the concrete will continue to gain strength up to 56 and 90 days. Elastic modulus is slightly higher than Portland cement concrete although creep may be reduced.

CO2 Reduction
Concrete made with Blended cement generates less CO2 compare to Normal OPC or TYPE V Cement ,for normal C40 concrete Blended cement generates 168 kg CO2e /m3 where as TYPE V generates 380 kg CO2e/m3
Properties of

Durability
Due to its slag content and tiny micro fine particles ,Blended cement produces dense matrix in concrete furthermore CSH hydrated reduces liquid phase in concrete ,Blended cement concrete sustain to severe sulphate exposure condition Class XD3 . It usually gives RCPT value <1000 coulombs subjected to low W/C ratio

Micro fine Replacement
Blended Hydraulic Cement Possess excellent particle size distribution therefore this material cab be used as a replacement of Micro fine cement where Sulfate resistant properties are required like geotechnical grout and Soil stabilization
