SRC
Sulphate Resistant Cement
Sulfate Resistant Cement is grey in colour, specially blended cement designed to improve the performance of concrete where the risk of sulfate attack may be present. It also provides improved durability for concrete in most aggressive environments, reducing the risk of either deterioration of the structure or
structural failure. Suitably designed concrete using this cement technology also significantly reduces concrete permeability. As other factors such as cementations content, water to cement ratio, levels of compaction and curing as well as design of the structure can influence concrete durability performance, specialist advice should be sought during the project design stage
Holcim Cement Qatar SRC is manufactured at Holcim Cement Qatar Plant in Mesiaeed, QATAR, under a strict ISO 9001-2008 system and following the strict HOLCIM group production and quality standards. Holcim Cement’s qualified and skilled personnel and the required facilities and equipments allow the necessary testing, evaluation and adjustment of product quality to meet the requirements set by QCS 2010, BS4027 and equivalent to ASTM.
Applications
